Mark DeMeno
Percussion, Vocals, Bass, Electric & Acoustic Guitars
Mark J. DeMeno has played guitar, keyboard, bass and percussion with The Dave Iglar Band. He joined Dave in 1999.
Mark is an accomplished lead and rhythm player who started learning guitar when he was 8 years old. He studied classical guitar in the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, and studied piano and bass at the Community College of Allegheny County. He studied classical piano with Gerald Jennings. Previously, he played blues guitar with Eugene & the Nightcrawlers.
He has appeared as frontman with his own Mark DeMeno Band and performs regularly as The Marks with fellow musician Mark DeLuca. Other projects have included the band Crucible.
Special performances include concerts at Blues for Food, the Pittsburgh Blues Festival and the Rock Falls Midsummer Music Festival.
A multi-talented musician, he teaches guitar, bass and piano.
