Mark DeMeno
Percussion, Vocals, Bass, Electric & Acoustic Guitars
Mark J. DeMeno regularly plays percussion, guitar and bass with The Dave Iglar Band. He began playing keyboards and guitars with Dave in 1999.
He is an accomplished lead and rhythm player who started learning guitar when he was 8 years old. He studied classical guitar in the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, and studied piano and bass at the Community College of Allegheny County. He studied classical piano with Gerald Jennings. Previously, he played blues guitar with Eugene & the Nightcrawlers.
He has appeared as frontman with his own Mark DeMeno Band and performs regularly as The Marks with fellow musician Mark DeLuca.
Special performances include concerts at Blues for Food, the Pittsburgh Blues Festival and the Rock Falls Midsummer Music Festival.
A multi-talented musician, he teaches guitar, bass and piano at Waddell's Music Center (www.waddellsmusic.com) in Wexford, PA.
